Barnes & Noble is centrally located on California Ave near to the 99. It's easy to find parking and a quick place to run in and grab a book you have been wanting. It has a nice cafe offering Starbucks drinks and yummy panini. They also have Wifi for a fee.
They have a nice selection of books, magazines and music, but are lacking a bit in seating for hanging out. They also have a great children's area with lots of storytime events.
