My father does not have a profile on here, so I will go ahead and describe his experience...
Being a native from France, my father knows what good french and basque quisine tastes like. Tonight, however, he was dissapointed. His frog legs, he explained, seemed to have "been from a frog who had been working them legs too hard at the gym..." The meat was tough to get off the bone and tough to chew and a typical frog leg should have meat that just slides off the bone...
The waitor was refilling his water and an ice cube fell on the table while he was pouring it. The ice cube fell into the salsa, splattering the red sauce onto my dad's shirt. Thank god for my mom and her "giddy up 409"....
"Service and food has just gone down..."

Great food. One of the best basque restaurants in town. They have some very 'traditional' items on the menu. Very interesting. Like the escargots. The chicken was exactly what I like, not fried. The dinners here come with everything too so you don't have to order all the side dishes.
I like the pasta, simple but tasty. Also, the bread is great and it goes perfect with the soup. I ate about two bowls of soup but wanted to save space for my chicken. Great place for the family. Like the setting, too. lots of historyhere.
