If you're going for the pita and dip, you can buy these items at the Gourmet Shoppe next door, both Green Frog markets and at Lassen's.  The red dip is called Turkish Salad.    I can usually get the pitas, but the turkish salad is popular and often sells out.

There are a few good things at Cafe Med, however overall it is a terrible place to go.  I do very much enjoy their pita bread and dip, the strawberry salad and their shrimp cocktail, otherwise it is a disgusting place with disgusting people.  More or less a meat market with people buying their way overpriced drinks pretending to be high class.  The wait staff overall are not skilled and are somewhat snobbish.  The bar is often so crowded that you can not even get through to go to the restroom.  The tables are also very close together so it is hard to get through there.  If going, I would definitely recommended lunch or another off time. This restaurant is much to pricey for what you get.
