Service has been a bit spotty in the half dozen or so times I've been here. I think they are often very busy and slightly understaffed. Most of the food is decent, albeit not outstanding. I think with Italian food you can do better with Uricchio's or Sandrini, and with middle eastern with you can actually do better with Flames & Skewers! The main draw here is the bread, which is amazingly delicious and should be classified as a narcotic. I would recommend going once to try the bread, if nothing else.

	My all-time favorite Bakersfield restaurant! The food is exceptional (cold dill soup, Greek salad, ANY fish, ANY lamb). The Lemon Drop martini is the best in town. The wine list is exceptional.... And the wait staff are always attentive and professional. I take all my out-of-town visitors here!

	Used to be great. Now just one star. last visit was a special occassion and was ruined by the wait staff who did not have a clue, and food that was stale or over cooked. We are not regulars per... Used to be great. Now just one star. last visit was a special occassion and was ruined by the wait staff who did not have a clue, and food that was stale or over cooked. We are not regulars per se but used to enjoy. Not anymore. Needs a makeover especially the staff and someone to watch the food go out of the kitchen. We did complain but got a blank stare. Too bad used to be a great Bakersfield eatery!
