You really get more bang for your buck here. My favorite is the killer pork sandwich that comes with seasoned fries and cabbage salad. Don't mistake it for tradition cole slaw because it's not. I always ask for beans to substitute for the cabbage and they are awesome. The sandwich is huge, the fries plentiful, the service friendly, the atmosphere happy and relaxed. It's a little noisy at times but that adds to the experience. The beef dinner is also a great value.
The last time I was there I could only eat half my sandwich and was looking forward to the other half for dinner. When I got home I looked around for my container and realized I'd left it on the table. Talk about heartbreak. Basket of food and drink for under 10 bucks.

I pulled into town late one Monday night and stopped here for dinner. It was during a football game and I sat at the bar. The food is pretty good. The fish tacos I had were filling and cheap. But...

I pulled into town late one Monday night and stopped here for dinner. It was during a football game and I sat at the bar. The food is pretty good. The fish tacos I had were filling and cheap. But the biggest surprise was that for $2.50 I got a half pitcher of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I didn't even drink it all because I had to drive home.
After the game was over they pulled out one of those boards with the hole in the middle and let customers try to throw a football through the hole. It was fun watching those who had been drinking all night try to hit the target ;-) They gave prizes away to people who stayed for the entire game and to the person who threw the football through the target. So this is a good place to watch the game and get cheap eats and drinks.

This is a fun place to go on a hot summer night and sit out on the patio with a drink. It's parking area is also a gather place for classic cars at times.
