We've been going to Dr. Cooke for years and have never had a bad experience.  He is gentle with our animals and has never been one to rip us off.  We highly recommend Dr. Cooke and will continue to bring our cats and dogs to him for many years to come!!

I had to offer a review of today's visit.

My Tara, the dog in my avatar, came up lame for some reason. She won't put any weight on her rear leg. I panicked, and called Whitney (the receptionist) about 9am and she made me a day of appointment for 3.

Dr Cooke and his tech gave her a very thorough exam, and diagnosed our problem. Her knee was twisted. He told me to give her an aspirin every other day for pain, and to strictly limit her activities--maybe even crate her. If her problem doesn't go away in a week or two, bring her back in.

Total cost: $18.50 He didn't try to sell me some drugs or unneeded treatments. Even when I suggested taking an xray, he said he didn't think it was necessary.

I just don't know too many people who won't try to jack up some phoney balooney bill on you. I came into that hospital ready to spend $500 if I had to, but I didn't even need $20. You tell me this ain't the place to be.....
