My first visit to darkstar records was like finding a treehouse hidden in the middle of the city. The walls upon entering are lined with Lp's and racks of 45's all in great shape and priced even better. The small space makes this collector envious of the organized rows of neatly sleeved and cleaned vinyl. In the back part of this space is where shelves filled with rows of book pretaining to graphic novels, pulps, music, and the occult rest. This is where my dream took a even better spin, as I looked to the lo and behold; comic books. A nice rack of them neatly placed, bagged and boarded. Two small boxes with a mix of Marvel and DC to the left of that close to the floor. To the right, toys! No Way! not to say that the selection is all impressive but as i said " a treehouse filled with all your childhood- adolescent goodies. I will be going back for a while. They also have lp, 45, and paper sleeves all for a good price. The owner knows his music also so be prepared to get some good conversation in there as well. ok thats all i think? enjoy
