I've LOVED Dewars since I was a kid in the 50's.  I moved to NorCal, so I only get to enjoy this place on special occasions.  I didn't know about the big joint in Rosedale though.  To me, it's still next to the BHS (my alma mater) campus.  Keep it up, George.  My favorite is the George's Special - even over the Black and White.

My family and I like to go here every great once in awhile to grab a little treat, the George's Special being my personal favorite everytime. We all love it, but it doesn't have quite the same giddyup as the downtown created. While it is a bit more laid back atmosphere the employees always do seem to treat the customers nice, just not quite as much energy. But what can I say, the ice cream definitely makes up for most of it!
