I was taken to this place by a few friends of the family. At first I was very skeptial since Mexican food on the east side of town is quite abundant and not always the greatest. However, I absolutely loved it! It is the best place on the east side! Their mole enchiladas and shrimp cocktail are delicious!!! Its a small place so get there early to beat the crowds. This is the only Mexican place I'd go to on the east side! YummY!

My husband and I try to eat at Jacalito's every Tuesday, when we get the Fajita special. Last night I changed the day and the selection, having the #15. I had so much food that I was able to bring some home for lunch. the staff is always friendly, getting us their delicious salsa as we run out, bringing drinks and food as needed and on time. The food is excellent and not the normal run-of-the-meal Mexican food. I had eaten at Jacalito's when it was in Lamont, and am happy it is closer in town now. A great experience, every time.

I love their salsa, it's the best in town and their chips are warm and crunchy. I've enjoying many lunches at Jaucalito Grill over the past 5 years and the food has always been fresh and tasty. Try their fish tacos if you enjoy seafood, it's my favorite. The staff is very warm and their service is always quick - very important when you're on a lunch hour.
