I must say the Elephant Bar has offered good food everytime I went. After trying a few different plates I usually stick with their Shrimp Platter, and love the 4 differeny types of cooked shrimp that it offers. The down side to this place is it's wait times on many nights. Reservations are accepted though which can make it convient, that is if you remember to call a couple hours ahead on Fri and Sat nights. Also, most of their servers are a friendly group, though, I guess it never fails with most restaurants that you will encounter at least one that seems to know how to neglect their customers. Anyhow, it hasn't happened much and for that, Elephant Bar gets a pretty decent review, for their food is pretty good tasting!

Ah...the Elephant Bar. Well, I have had dinner there several times when they first opened and never had a bad meal. Only thing is, I am not really impressed with anything. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, but the menu is about average. I've tasted the same dishes at other places too. The lounge is great and the outdoor seating is pretty cool too. I'm sure the restaurant has lots of fans. Its just not for everyone.

My husband and I love the Elephant Bar. We have never had a problem with service but then we don't usually go on busy nights like Saturday or Sunday. The 20% senior discount makes it less pricey as well. The drinks are great even though we don't get a senior discount on them. The atmosphere is great. I particularly love the fresh fish dishes, and the appetisers are very good too. One of my friends goes for the lamb shanks. I guess it all depends on what you like.

These out of town chains just do not get it. We did not fall of the turnip truck yesterday! It was great when it opened but lately the service sucks. The food is great, it would just be nice for your party to all get their order at the same time. Complained last time and fell on deaf ears!
