Love this place!!!! My husband and I have been going for about 3 years now... we have season tickets.. it has become our date night. The shows are always fantastic, with very few and minor exceptions they also keep them very clean and suitable for a family. We love the "bar" and we love the cast. Sweet owners too!!!

Tonight I was lucky enough to go see The Gaslight Melodramas famous performance of "My Big Fat Oildale Wedding."  It was FANTASTIC! It was mine and my husband's first time at the theatre and what a complete treat! The staff and cast were all very welcoming and the theatre is FUN!! What a great date night! The show was campy and entertaining and we LOVED IT!! Writer, actor and director Michael Prince has brought his love for Bakersfield/Oildale to the stage and HE DELIVERS!! The entire cast keeps you laughing, singing and proud that you live in B-Town!! Of all the theatre Ive been to here in town this was my favorite! Don't miss it! Everyone should call the theatre and beg them to continue the run of "My Big Fat Oildale Wedding!!!"
