Great bread! Staff has always been friendly, with the exception of the older woman who was very rude and acted as if it was a bother to take our order.

I like the sandwiches a lot when they are right. Very, very tasty. But of the four sandwich purchases I've made, two were not correct, even though they make you write up your order yourself and I was very specific on the mayo and onion issue. On two different trips I had to check on my sandwich after long waits...both times they never put the order slip in the back. On my last mistake-ridden visit I was shocked on the wait, especially after 5 different people came out and looked at the dripping soda machine, which included 2 teenagers who came in off the street, went straight to the back, hung out eating bread and cookies and as far as I could tell never washed their hands. Finally after 17 minutes I asked "is my sandwich almost ready" to the woman behind the counter, the one who took my order and her response...really this is her quoted response "I wouldn't know about that". I'm not joking folks, that's how she responded. They then discovered my order slip (which she had last since she charged me for it) on the cluttered counter. They threw in a free cookie. I'm not planning on returning any time soon. I think I'll mail them back my punch card.

This is the best sandwich company in town. It surpasses all others including Sequoia, which I've been a patron of for a long time. The Great Harvest Bread Co. is a very unique bakery that offers delicious signature sandwiches and fresh baked bread. You can even try a slice for free (try the Pesto Parmesan, when available.) Also for sale are fun knick-knacks, unique utensils and exotic sauces, salsas, drinks and more. I highly recommend this business for lunch to anyone!
