I had the eggplant parmesan sandwich on white bread, and wow...it was fantastic.  The bread is baked fresh daily, and they slice the bread directly from the loaf.  There was a line to the door, yet the employees were still friendly and helpful.  My mom had a chef salad (which was massive), and she said it was really good.  My brother-in-law had some sort of Italian sandwich, and it must have been good because he ate the whole thing.

The prices were more than fair for the portions they serve.  I'm not sure what people are talking about when they say the booths are too small.  All four of us were able to sit comfortably at a table.  If you can't fit into the tables, it's your fault--lose some weight or something.  And you can start losing weight here at Heidi's Brooklyn Deli by getting a salad instead of a fatty sandwich!!

When I'm on this side of town again, I will be stopping by for another outstanding sandwich.

I have had a few diffrent sandwiches and I have had their chef salad...mmmmm.....it is huge too!!!

We love this place! I had the cajun turkey with avocado and it was ACTUALLY spicy. (not like other restaurants who claim something is cajun, and then it's bland). Our kids had their PB & J, and even us parents were drooling over it! The bread is great and the service is fantastic! Their staff is so knowledgeable and friendly :) Only complaint is the booths are really, really tiny. So if you want to be comfortable, I suggest dining outside!
