My daughter and I go here all the time.  The brothers who own it are wonderful and have a real passion for cooking and it is apparent in what is prepared.  The chicken con mole is out of this world!  We will continue to visit and hope that Bakersfield will support a locally owned business.  Go by and you are sure to meet one of the owners named Alejandro (Alex), he will stop by and make sure your meal is great.  The atmosphere is very comfortable and the restaurant is very, very clean.  Do yourself a favor and try it.  It's a departure from run of the mill mexican fare.  It has all of the basics kicked up a notch on par with higher end gourmet meals without all the snobbery and affectations (or the high prices).  We will continue to enjoy the delicious surprised offered.

Have been to this place several times and truly like it! It's easy to miss because it's on such a busy street( Truxtun). But keep on eye out for it. I have recommded it to friends and family and they have visited several times. The decor is unique unlike  any restaurant in Bakersfield. It has a mission theme. Simply check out the menu, they offer a wide variety of dishes ranging from mexican food to interesting dishes like Orange Chicken Burrito to Mexican Pizza to Chile Verde Cheese Fries (which I happen to taste and were surprisingly tasty!!)  They have the best salsa in town with a fresh taste. Also, the best Horchata(rice drink) in town. On Mother's Day moms ate free during brunch and in Father's Day dads ate free during brunch I thought that was nice. Hopefully, they do this every year. I am trying to  visit the lunch buffet each day of the week because some items change. I've gone on Wednesdays and they have Italian food along with Mexican ( a spicy Fetuccini, Chicken Parmigianna, Etc.). On Fridays ahh they have some great barbecue ribs! Service was good and will definitely visit again!

My wife and I use to pass this place quite frequently and finally decided to give it a try a few months ago. We have been going back ever since. We have tried a lot of different menu items from the appetizers to dinners and they have all been very good. The portions are large at a great price.

This is definitely a great place to eat or relax and have a drink with friends.
