I'd like to have this place take over Hot Stone Pizza (Brimhall/Calloway) on my side of town! Despite the run down shopping center L.A. Pizza Veloz, our family really enjoyed it. Great $9.99 large, three-item pizza deal. The chicken wings weren't Goose Loonies caliber but most pizza places never get them right. The menu was pretty extensive and there was definitely a steady stream of people. I hope this place thrives and that the owner buys out Hot Stone!

This place is amazing!!! Service was a bit slow on a Friday night during the dinner rush hour but not excruciating. I ordered the cheese tortellini with pesto sauce ($8.99 dinner portion with a small side salad and garlic bread) which was absolutely divine! My hubby ordered the eggplant parmesan which he said was equally as delicious. Our bill was a bit under $25 for two adults and one child. The place was also very child friendly which is a plus when you have a rowdy two-year old. We definitely recommend this place for good, cheap eats. We added this to our list of regular places to have dinner.

Just tried this little jewel for the first time. Took the family. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, pepperoni calzoni, meat pizza, and lasagna. We shared it all. My only complaint - and I mean only - is that the calzone did not "look" like I had expected. It was more of a top and bottom pizza, round in shape opposed to the usual crescent shape pie. Without question their sauce is unique. It starts off sweet and ends up with a little kick. I am grateful that Pete Tittel did his review for us to be enticed into going. We live across town from this joint but will certainly keep it in mind for any Italian cravings.

I was introduced here by a friend of my who orders pizza from here A LOT. Once I had a bite, I knew I was hooked. I took my husband for dinner and new he's hooked too. There pizza is like NO other!! Because they use marinara sause, and not your typical pizza or tomatoe sause, it gives the pizza a "fresh" taste. Not to mention they make the sause daily on site!!
The service we received there was AWESOME!! And that was with a bit of an evening rush.
I highly recommend that you too recommend them to those who have been there.
