Lassen's has a great selection of natural/organic foods, more than you'll find at Trader Joe's although the prices are higher.  I especially like their deli selection, and have a good choice of pre-packaged foods to pick up for lunch or dinner.

The deli is really good.  The last time I was there, I got the veggie meatball sub.  Very tasty, indeed.  The service was really slow, but after I ate the sandwich, I didn't really care that much.

The store also has a variety of products that can only be found there.  I always buy Dr. Bronner's magical soap.  Yes, at $15 a bottle, it is very expensive.  But geez, that stuff does wonders.  It feels amazing on your skin when you bathe with it.

My advice is to order a sandwich, and while you wait, go shopping.
