It was nice for the party we attened; but it gets crowded fast. I cant stand places like that, but the bar was well stocked and they knew their drinks

I love Narducci's family style menu, but my biggest complaint is the lack of air conditioning. It can get downright muggy while you're sitting there, and while they try to fix it by opening the doors, this just lets flies in that keep landing on my food. I love the pickled cows tongue, french fries, bleu cheese salads and chickenbut try to avoid the "band room" or when the saxophone gets cranking if you want to have a conversation with your meal, but great food, unique atmosphere and stiff drinks at great prices makes it a total Bakersfield place. You never feel like you're sitting in a Rosedale/Orange county chain place.

I went there with a large group the other night (we made reservations). Cheese, salami, bread, and salsa were waiting on the tables for us. After a bit of socializing, the soup came. The soup could have been a little warmer, but it was still really good. Throw the salsa, the beans, and some Tabasco into the soup and dunk your buttered bread into it--good stuff. Then the salad came, and it was superb. It had a great dressing with nice touches of feta cheese and mushrooms. Then they brought out the pickled tongue, fries, and pasta, at which point many people were too stuffed to eat. They also brought wine (which people were NOT too stuffed to drink). I have no complaints and nothing but praise for Narducci's. Go there.
