On the one hand, staff is usually great. On the other hand, every time I have to visit Dr. Oconnell, there are TONS of Pharmaceutical Reps taking his time and pushing the appointments back, so even if you have an early appointment, you can guarantee that you will still wait 30 to 45 minutes (at the least) PAST your scheduled time as you watch one after the other of the Reps go have a cup of coffee with the Doc. This is the case EVERY single time we visit, regardless of the day of the week or the time of the appointment, there are always Reps going in and out of the office. For years I worked for a local Veterinarian who did the same thing, kept paying clients waiting while he visited with the endless line of Pharmaceutical Reps. I value my time and I understand emergencies come up, but COME ON, do I have to wait like that EVERY TIME I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT? The Rep can wait til lunchtime, then he can buy you lunch, that's why they have an expense account.
