Like everybody else I read the hype and had to check this place out. It was BAD. The restaurant was dirty for starters. The wallpaper was coming off the walls, the tables were covered with trash and the floor was extremely dirty. Our pizza was burnt on the bottom. When I brought this to the their attention I was told it was because it was from the fire brick oven. Sorry but I got to call bull**** on that one. We go out for pizza at least once a week and a lot of the places we go to have fire brick ovens. This was the worst pizza I ever had. Afterwords I went to use the restroom. Not only were the out of hand soap, but towels too.

So after all the hype I finally went. Placed a carry out order for a small pizza. It took well over an hour so I figured it had to be good. Got home to find out the bottom of the pizza was badly burned, there was virtually no sauce, and it did not tast good. I may try it again someday but as of now I think they are way over hyped.

The pizza was excellent, great toppings and value for the money - my daughter and I shared a small BBQ chicken pizza and couldn't finish it all it was such a big portion. We went on a Sunday afternoon, after church, moderate crowd, the wait was not bad for the pizza. Restaurant could have been a bit cleaner, though.

Quite possibly the perfect B-town pizza. Forget the chain pizzerias, and stop going to whoever's pizza place is closest to you---go the extra mile and taste Plumberrys, because you won't be disappointed. Although they have a terrific menu filled with Italian specialties, sandwiches etc., (and those are all quite good), go for the pizza. The pizza is especially delicious. It has a not-too-thin yet not-too-thick light & chewy crust, a perfect layer of just-right spiced tomato sauce, topped with plenty of gooey cheese, and of course whatever toppings you select. Our family's favorite is pepperoni with pineapple, a nice balance of heat & sweet. Also they use one of those slower, more traditional ovens that tends to bake their pizzas more uniformlly and consistently so it just tastes better. You may find that the price is a touch more than the other places around town, but it's well worth it to get a quality meal that is a refreshing change from the other "fast-food" stlye pizzas that unfortunatly seem to be the "norm" these days. It's also nice that they don't have all the disractions and noise you often experience such as arcade games, and people screaming out orders over loudspeakers etc. The atmosphere is somewhere above fast-casual but below fine-dining--just right if you ask me. So it's nice to go there with your family (you might actually be able to converse with your fellow diners!), a date, or just to meet friends or colleagues for a bite. Oh, and if you still have room after eating all that goodness, they also serve hand-scooped ice cream (probably have around 10 to 12 flavors available) and other homemade style desserts. And if that weren't enough, the staff are friendly and attentive, and go out of their way to make you feel right at home. We love this place!
