I'm only qualified to mention the orange chicken, since that's the only entree I've ever had from Quick One.  My aunt has let me try orange chicken when she brought it to our house a couple of times while she was visiting.  So, today I decided to eat in at Quick One for the first time while on an afternoon bike ride.

The atmosphere was a little plain, but the place looked very clean from what I saw.  The service was decent, not the best I've ever had, but still I couldn't complain.

The price I paid for my orange chicken and a soda was just over $10.  A little pricey, but the portion was decently sized and it included steamed rice in one of those Chinese containers.  The food was made fresh after I ordered it and the flavor was amazing.  This is definitely a hidden gem in Northwest Bakersfield in a shopping center that includes RJ's, Dewar's, and Movie Gallery.

It's kind of hidden all tucked away next to RJ's on Hageman, but it's a must go (especially for lunch).  The lunch menu that has all of the popular favorites and for the low price of $4.99 you get a full plate of food and a soda or soup.

The food is cooked fresh in the wok after you order.  The veggies are cooked perfectly (not over cooked) and so is the choice of meat.  The beef and snow peas, garlic chicken, and kung pao chicken are especially tasty.

I haven't tried it for dinner, but I go for lunch at least a couple times a month.  Go and check out this place, it's a hidden gem.
