what can I say?   its a bar.....with a wherehouse-sized room attached to it with pool tables, some video games, and an upstairs that looked like it had air hockey or foosball...

the service wasnt bad, but wasnt great either.  I had a beer to drink with my lunch, as well as water.  after i finished my beer and water, my water glass sat empty for the entirety of our meal.

with enough bars in bakersfield to keep a drunk away from an AA meeting for a few years, a bar has to distinguish itself with something on the menu that cannot be had anywhere else.  firehouse doesnt have that one item....basic bar food....not bad, not great, just average

With firehouse being clear across town from where I live, i think chuy's is a better bet.  cheaper beer and standout items on the menu that can only be had at chuys.

hey, i took my wife there and a couple of friends after hearing my cousin brag about it ( hot chick hangout) we had a great time watching the Dodger game and playing some pool. the atmosphere was great, kinda wished the pitchers of beer to be a little cheaper, but we had a blast. if you decide to check it out, try the hot wings.

I go to the Firehouse occasionally for lunch but never really spent much time doing any of the other activity's. Recently I went back for a company party and we had the best time. The service was great and so was the atmosphere. We payed pool,  shuffle board and probably had few to many drinks. We will definitely be coming back. I'm looking forward to going again this weekend with a couple of friends.

This is one of my favorite spots in town. Great Food and great people. The only complaint I've had was when they first opened they had no real happy hour, but now they have specials every day of the week. The street tacos are excellent! They also have Buzz time trivia. My wife and I play Texas Hold-em every time we go in during happy hour.
