Eh. My husband and I had dinner there and to start with it's like being in a very dark cave, turn up the lights a little for pete's sake!  Our steaks were good, loved the sauce too but a dab a plain steamed veggies and a baked potato???  Really, come on, this is 2008, a baked potato???  How about some risotto?  How about  coming out of the 80's?  Just way over priced and out dated.  We won't waste our money.  I do have to say the service is great though.

This place was great for our romantic dinner.  Very unassuming from the outside, but warm and inviting on the inside.  A very nice wine list- presented by the owner- who also showed us to our table/booth.  Our waitress, Megan, was very attentive and well informed on the menu and wine list.  The stuffed mushrooms were lovely.  The meat portions were hefty and the sauces were nice compliments without being overbearing.  Please save room for dessert!  The "cloud nine" with their mild coffee was a wonderful ending to a fabulous meal.  We will put Maxwell's in heavy rotation on our restaurant list.  -5 stars for sure!
