I have been a customer at the Cutting Edge now for a few months. My first experience there was as a walk in. I came into the salon not knowing who to see or ask for and I was referred to Misty Towery. Because of the fantastic job she did, I continued to go back. Not only did she help take my overcolored dark hair to a beautiful blonde, she also nursed it back to its full health. She is very knowledgeable about product and really spends the extra time getting to know her clients' needs. I have received numerous compliments on my hair after going to her and I have made sure to refer many people I know to her. Misty Towery is extremely talented and willing to continue her education to stay up to date on all the latest styles and techniques. The salon is very comfortable and upon arrival, great service is provided. It would be in anyone's best interest to see Misty Towery at the Cutting Edge for a brand new experience and style.

Located right by the fountain at the Marketplace, The Cutting Edge salon was a place I've walked by many times, but never really noticed. That was until my stylist, Teresa Jennings, moved to this quaint salon. Teresa is an awesome stylist and person. She did an amazing job changing my hair color from brassy light blonde with dark roots to rich, dark brown that hasn't faded. (For anyone who has ever done this knows that it's a big challenge.) She is very well trained from the Paul Mitchell school and does awesome techniques like colorblocking, which makes my hair color look more natural.
She also has a very soft, soothing touch and I find myself nodding off while she is doing my hair. She charges extremely fairly for her services. I HIGHLY recommend her.
Cutting Edge is a smaller salon with a great product selection and very friendly staff and stylists. I was really surprised how little noise there is in the salon since its in a busy area. They also have very comfortable shampoo bowls, which is a rarity. :)
