If you are looking for a good japanese sushi roll, this is a place for you.
The price is in an O.K. range and the service is just perfect.
I've been eating at Tokyo Garden for quite a bit and also at Miyoshi which is
also owned by the same owner.

Tokyo Garden consistently puts out pretty good Japanese style dishes. Their combination dinners include a savory miso soup and salad with ginger dressing. Teriyaki chicken is a reliable standard here. The fried oysters are good, shrimp and vegetable tempuras are likewise consistently good. The udon soup is plentiful, but not the best menu choice, being rather bland. Service is usually good, and customers are forewarned on the menu that every bill includes an automatic 15% gratuity.
First time visitors might enjoy the variety and excess of a dragon boat, a fun (but not cheap) way to experience several core dishes in one extravagent meal.
Tokyo Garden has several group tables for teppanyaki style cooking, and 3 or 4 cooks who have varying degrees of expertise in presentation and entertainment. We've hosted birthday parties here that were a pleasant variation from the norm.

This has been the place to go for me whenever I have a J food craving. The place is typical Japanese decoration from the 80's and very dark lighting. The Teppan dining experience is so underwhelming. The best way to dine is the more traditional tables setting. The food is tastefully presented and flavorful. The sushi is fresh and the offered selection is more conservative and traditional. You will not find the fusion sushi of the Rock & Roll sushi bars of late. A good place to visit for some peace and relative quiet dining.
