My boyfriend and I enjoy going to the Rocket Cafe. We are big fans of the bacon cheeseburgers and they have a great chef salad. They also have great bar and some of the bartenders (especially Dixie) can make a mean Grey Goose and Cranberry.

Thee food there is great especially the pastas! I often go with my friends there for dinner because its a quite atmosphere and the food is cheap and dilicious. Though everytime I go the service does not seem to be very good? I often have to wait 25 minutes for a refill on my tea. Yesterday was different, we were waited on by a very hansome young man. He was very attentive and polite. What amazed us the most was his memory! He took all of our orders (7) with out a pen or paper!! I have never been so amazed with service like I was with this kid. I heard he can do up to 26 orders with out hesitating? If you visit the restaurant request this kid because trust me you will be in for a treat, the only problem is I did not catch his name? He is also extremely smart. The food is outstanding and the service is great only when the only guy server is serving you!!

I stopped in for breakfast Tuesday morning. They had a New York steak and eggs on special for $8.99. Most breakfast steaks are the size of a deck of cards, so I wasn't expecting too much. I was very suprised. It was a full size, regular steak. I would guess 14 oz. And it was delicious. It was served with 2 eggs, choice of hash browns or country potatoes and choice of toast or biscuits and gravy. I went with the country potatoes and the biscuits and gravy. The potatoes were fresh cut and had onion and bell pepper. The biscuit was average, but the gravy was good. Tasted homemade. Service was good. There were 3 waitresses and when not serving, they were cleaning. Lots of NASCAR related items for sale and a nice, big TV above the bar. They open at 5am everyday except Sunday (Sunday is 6am) and are open till 10 each night, midnight on weekends. I plan to go back there often...
