How could anyone not love the Kern County Museum? For those of you that haven't been, it's really a trip down Kern County's memory lane and a real treasure in our community.



On the grounds of the museum, they are moved historic buildings from around Kern County. Victorian homes, old businesses, churches, schoolhouses and more. It really feels like you've gone back in time. It's really a charming atmosphere with lots of old trees and strolling throughout the grounds is very relaxing. I can see why lots of weddings happen at the Museum.



There is also a Black Gold exhibit that has everything you would ever want to know about the local oil industry exhibited or on film.



It is definitely a must see in Bakersfield and an experience not to miss.
