I'm sure I'm just too old to get it. Without having to work my way onto a VIP list I can have a tremendous dining experience at a few other places around town. Haven't been there for dinner, which sounds very different, but the place was mostly empty at lunch and the food we ate was dry and - honestly - rather bland. Got to see the White Sox/Phillies game, though. And the person who served us was pretty cool. I think I'll try again on Friday or Saturday night and see what the fuss is about. If I can get in.

You don't have to be on the VIP List to have dinner with us on the weekends. We do, however, recommend you make reservations. We wish you better experience next time.

The staff was very rude to me and my party. They made us step to the side and let others go in ahead of us with and without reservations. We left and will not return.

Its unfortunate that this review doesnt actually comment on our dining experience but rather on our late night operations. Our late night lounge is primarily for the customer that dines with us. If you dont dine with us then it very difficult to get in. We operate off of a VIP Guest List after the restaurant closes. This is our way of rewarding guests that are loyal to us. We are not a night club. We are a restaurant. Yes we have a fantastic late night environment but it is very exclusive. We recommend that everyone give our food a chance--you wont be disappointed.

Well its kinda hard to review a place that says they are at capacity and won't let a group of girls in,
yet turns around and lets 3 guys in. Some people I have talked to said girls don't pay, yet a friend of mine was told $15 cover, and when my friends and I went they told us $20/head. I think Replay needs to apply the same rules to everyone if they want the respect from people in Bakersfield.

I think its unfair to review a place you havent had the chance to experience. First and foremost we are a restaurant. We hope that everyone will visit us for our culinary experience. As far as our lounge operations are concerned, we give priority to our guests that dine with and to individuals who earn their way on to our VIP Guest List. The reason we may have let the gentlemen in is because they are VIP or they have table reservations. Contrary to what some people may think we are not a nightclub. We don't let anyone in. We are an exclusive venue. It's very chaotic on Fridays and Saturday nights we suggest you make a reservation and dine with us.
