Pedi Center Story
The Pedi Center is an after-hours pediatric urgent care center that has been serving Kern County’s children since 1986. In 2008, The Pedi Center moved to 9900 Stockdale Hwy., Suite 105. Their phone number is 661-410-9500. Local physicians staff the center, and take care of children with mild illnesses and injuries, as well as perform school and sports physicals. Dr. Hasmukh Amin, the center’s medical director, states that having a place designed specifically for children, who can be seen by pediatricians in the evening and weekend hours, helps working parents. The Pedi Center is kid-friendly with shorter wait times compared to local emergency rooms. The Pedi Center has also expanded its hours to 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
