Kern County Water Agency Water Resources Planner I/II $57,284.24 - $80,500.94 Annually $2,203.24 - $3,096.19 Biweekly The Kern County Water Agency is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Water Resources Planner I/II. This position will be responsible for providing support in the administration and accounting of operations of State Water Project and other State and local water supply contracts; data collection and analysis; writing reports using various engineering, geologic and/or hydrologic data; progress/cost tracking of special projects, loans and grant activities; and preparation of reports, motions and resolutions for the Board of Directors and various committees. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business or a related field. Ability to write and speak clearly. Excellent understanding of English, math, and a high proficiency in the use of computer word-processing and spreadsheet programs; readily capable of learning and using other technical programs. One (1) year of experience with emphasis in groundwater and surface water projects preferred. Valid California driver's license with no more than two (2) DMV points.
