We eat here at least once a week. The service is awesome, the entire family likes it, and the salsa is good (could be a litle hotter). I love the chile verde here! Highly recommend.

We went when they first opened and the service was horrible. All the same issues as others have written about. We finally had to get up and go over to the bar to get ourselves a drink. Chalked that up to being opening week. Next visit they weren't too busy and we thought great we can get some service this time. Wrong. I ordered the tamale and enchilda this time. Last time I think I got Chile Verde. Both times things were excellent. I like the taste of the spanish rice. Also, try their drinks if you have a chance.

Sure, it's a lunch spot by day, but it's a bit too well-lit for a bar after sunset. There's little uniqueness about this bar with its simple tables and chairs. There's a pool table, jukebox and lottery ticket machine. Bartenders don't discourage smoking and many patrons light up.

Heidi's brings another great sandwich shop to Bakersfield. The Salmon Melt and Chicken Pamesan Sandwiches are both wonderful (These are the only two I have tried so there may be other wonderful sandwiches on their menu). They also have very good breakfast burritos. Heidi's is a great choice if you want a sandwich that is a little different.

I still love this place, even after several decades of dining there. The food is great and the hospitality is wonderful to see in these days of fast food and bored servers. Highly recommended.

This is a good deal if you are in the mood for Mexican food. They have very tasty, traditional dishes and their combinations (basically 1, 2 or 3 items with rice and beans) is a great deal. I usually order an enchilada and a taco (beef). Their salsa is very good, not too hot but just spicy enough. That is one of my tests for a good Mexican restaurant. Recommended.

Bella Cafe is really close to my work, so I have been a handful of times. The service is quick and friendly. I haven't been that impressed with the food quality, but I keep going back and trying new things. Most meals range between $5-$8 for sandwiches, salads or casseroles. The decor is kind of this European country style that I mentally redecorate everytime I go. I think this place has a lot of potential, but just hasn't found its groove yet.

Haven't had sandwiches from the store, but have purchased many loaves of bread to make our own at home. This is the best bread ever! We are absolutely hooked on our Saturday bread run at Great Harvest. So glad to have a bread store in town.

I LOVE Dr. Johnson & her staff! I always giggle when I walk into the waiting area of the office though since they have about 5 rescue cats that live in the hospital and are eager to greet all of the new cats that enter. I remember going to Caesar's on the east side quite a bit back in the day. Nothing like their pickled tongue sandwiches. Today, I usually get a tongue sandwich and a roma. Both of them are very tasty and just as good as when we used to have them. Recommended.

This place is definitely great to eat some pizza. This would probably be one of my first stops to grab a nice huge slice of pizza, and when I say huge I mean it. They have gigantic slices of pizza, and I recommend if you order their biggest pizza, that you have at least 10 people or more eating on it. Their pizza is probably one of the best in Bakersfield! You definitely get what you pay for.

This place was really good! While the food was a bit heavy, and a little goes a long ways, every bite was tastey. Fetch! Pet Care is very professional and knowledgeable about our special needs dogs. They have gone above and beyond our expectations in caring for our pets when we've been away numerous times. Their daily written reports are a nice touch! They have been very reasonable with their fees. I highly recommend them. We in fact have scheduled additional services with them in the near future.

All I got to say is you go for the bread. It’s so good and can best be described as “goooie” when it enters your mouth. WE LOVE LUIGI'S! We usually end up going for lunch and it is quite a tasty lunch. It is pretty busy during lunch but when you step in their be prepared to go back in time. The memories on the walls are great to look at. The food is very consistet. Try their sandwiches, all great, but of course pasta and noodles are very good. Love this place and their sushi. They have recently exanded with more room for teppan cooking. If you like teppan and steak and chicken and rice, then try it. Taste great. I've gotten to sample a few of their menu items and I believe that most of them are very good in the traditional sort of way. I like Mexican food and being from Bakersfield have tried quite a few restaurants. I would encourage you to try the beef and chicken dishes and make sure to get the enchilado-style combinations.

I visited Camille's sidewalk cafe not knowing exactly what to expect. the layout is nice and inviting but there is so much going on I didnt know exactly what to order. Some of the rudest laziest people in the world work at this restaurant. Last weekend they were out of ice cream. Fine. Happen to go back on Tuesday. Finally had ice cream. Ordered 4 of the Oreo Polar Swirls. The girl was extemely rude throughout the transaction, ending with her tossing the cups on the counter and walking away. Also, this restaurant is ALWAYS messy.

They just don't really try here. The staff is, at best, indifferent. This is just a place to swing by and pick up a bucket of average, overpriced chicken. God help you if you get behind an A&W order, or need to make one yourself. This place is great. We have been four times and everytime we had a different sandwitch. Their bread is to die for and all the ingredients are first class. You really get your money''s worth. The entrees are good, but that's about it. The starter that preceeds the meal is anything but. I mean some of them like the cabbage soup are okay, but the beans, pasta, and fries taste as if they came from Vons across the way. I think the meals to me are bit overpriced (although you do get a lot of food). However, the main courses are very good. The fish is always good and the garlic chicken is great.
