They came out said our dishwasher needed a new heating element. We paid for the service call and element, however they would never order the element. Finially after almost two months they gave us the money back for the part but not for the service call. Sounds like a scam to me, have a service call, don't order the part, refund the money for the part but not service call. I had a recent experience with this company. The work performed was very substandard and when workers left unit did not operate satisfactorily. Had a very difficult time getting them to return calls and quite a delay before they returned to correct faulty workmanship. I would not recommend them.

Typical ghetto eastside bar, fighting and all kinds of drama at the end of the night. Also hold on to your things there, no one is honest and the bartenders and regulars will cover for each other. Please close this place down!

This place is horrible. Don't waste your money or time. The service was terrible, we were the first ones there and it took forever to get service, and when we did it was a rude waiter that seemed to think we were an inconvenience to him. When the food came, it was sub par at best. On an interesting note, I notice that every time a bad review is posted about this terrible place a 5 star is posted right after it. No doubt an employee or owner trying to save a failing business.

Nice service, great food. The salad wasn't too fresh but I didn't go there for a salad. Everything else was wonderful. I had the Salmon and Chicken. It came with Miso, tempura, California sushi and that salad. The Wasabi was tasty too, it had a little creamy texture. So much better than the stuff you get in a tube.

If you are looking to move, you can't go wrong with these guys! The service was excellent, the truck was new and clean, and they charged less that U-Haul for the priveledge! I won't go anywhere else. I can't say enough about how nice they were.

Some friends and I went to the Hourglass for lunch earlier this week. It was our first time there and will also be our last. We all ordered sandwiches yet it took an hour to receive our food eventhough we were the only patrons in the place. This place has adorable decorating and atmosphere, but these guys don't have it together service-wise. I went to this place for some sushi with friends and these guys were a mess. Some of us got our sushi first and some had to wait. I waited 2 hours for food and they couldn't get it together. Sadly, mine was the most simple roll to make, so I don't know what the chef was doing. They kept apologizing that the food wasn't there yet, but still no food. I love Bento Express! We always call in our order and they have it ready in 10-15 minutes. Their sushi is great and the prices are amazing. I highly recommend this place. ;)

Service is always ok. At lunch, these guys usually only have one waitress who is overworked, but she has a great memory for what you want. The food is pretty good. The decor is amazing. In genral, it's not a bad place for lunch. Just let them know if you don't have much time for lunch, they'll get you in and out. ;)

Ok. This place has good food, but the chick that owns it or runs it is AWFUL. I bought a sandwich here and she made it wrong. I paid 8 bucks for it, so I wanted it made as I asked. When I pointed it out to her, she grimaced, and slammed the sandwich into the trash. She made another and still forgot another ingredient. We love this business! The owners at Self Serve are super nice and really know their stuff. They recommended some great cat food for our cat (Orijen) and our cat loves it. It keeps him full and has no fillers that make him hungry quickly like the other cat foods we had him on. Our dog also dig the tubs here and we can all leave there without having to pull fur out of the sink or stop the dog from running around the back yard in the mud!

We've been going to Dr. Cooke for years and have never had a bad experience. He is gentle with our animals and has never been one to rip us off. We highly recommend Dr. Cooke and will continue to bring our cats and dogs to him for many years to come!!

Just make sure this is who you want. If for any reason you need to cancel your date due to a wedding change, no matter how soon you cancel it and even if it is done according to the contract, you will never get your deposit back!!! Although we were promised a refund by a certain time, we never recieved it and none of our calls or e-mails were returned. My family feels cheated and also feel this person is very unprofessional as a business owner.

Well rwestfall, if that was true, then WHY is this Taco Bell poor compared to other Taco Bells? :? Wow... I am not alone! XD I have never quite understood why there are a few people out there who even come here. For one thing, they don't even serve the food items that all Taco Bells should be serving, and their service stinks like hell man. In all honesty, I'm not that picky about fast-food in general, but the food quality and service are so bad here that it's pointless. The workers here just slack off... that's all I have to say dudes, lol.

I could think of many good reasons to prevent going here. I have not liked alot of their products for like 10 years, and their service is okay but unfulfilled. IN-N-OUT on Stockdale was pretty bad, but that was compared to other IN-N-OUT locations. If I compared Stockdale IN-N-OUT to Olive Drive Burger King, I would be begging for mercy dude, lol.

i have gone to in-n-out a couple of times and to some out of town. i have never had bad service and i hope i never do. i love their them its different and not like your BK or McD's. i also like how they don't use mayo on their hambugers.

We stopped in to eat at Jimanos and tried their onion rings to start with. They are excellent!!! The pizza crust is the best we have had. You get a lot of pizza for the price. Definately recommend!

My new favorite lunch spot!!! We have been here a few times and have tried different things. Overall, I think the food is very good! The service had always been very friendly and accomodating. On thursday and friday they have BBQ lunch specials and I had a chance to try this last friday, WOW, what a great meal for your money! It is the best burger of California, that is something cool about coming here. I also like the dining in general. All I can say is YUM! Whether you're a beef eater or not, GET THE RIBEYE! Although the music can be a bit overwhelming (if you intend to hear the rest of your party), the food (and cocktails) make it all worthwhile. Casual attire and decor, an all-around welcome addition to Bakersfield!

The hamburgers are very good. I usually don't buy hamburgers at restaurants because I'm pretty fond of my own. The chef is a great guy and makes you feel at home. The french fries are also one of a kind. With Johns Burger up the street, I think the best burger in town is from Amestoys Grill. Eat there if you can you wont be disappointed.

The thin crust pizza is the best I've ever had. Try it with white sauce, garlic and chicken. YUMMY! You wouldn't think of a pizza place for ribs, but they are excellent! They fall off the bone. Don't forget the awesome steak fries with homemade ranch dressing.

I like the 40 year old decor, I think it would have been a great place to have gone 20 years ago. I've never had "egg rolls" deep fried like that... still not sure I liked it but if you like deep fried bacon..and liver...welcome to heaven. I can't say anything bad about the place, but it isn't for me.

My wife and I use to pass this place quite frequently and finally decided to give it a try a few months ago. We have been going back ever since. We have tried a lot of different menu items from the appetizers to dinners and they have all been very good. The portions are large at a great price. This is definitely a great place to eat or relax and have a drink with friends.

LOVE! Mama Roomba has a great, fun atmosphere, really excellent food and attentive service. We each had mojitos and ordered a few dishes to share including the Tri-tip, Salmon with Mango Salsa, Wilted Spinach Salad, black beans and rice. Great place for an anniversary or special date. Food was excellent, service attentive but not overly so. Bakersfield needs more restaurants like this; Valentien makes you feel like you've gone to Santa Barbara but without the drive.

Beware!!! This guy is posing as a licensed contractor, but is unlicensed. He charges a low amount, then does a shoddy job, tells you he can do something when he really has no idea how to do it. Badgers you for multiple installments of money, acts entitled to money for work not completed, and gets angry when he doesn't get what he wants. He's a con-artist--stay AWAY!!!

I love Santa Barbara Pizza and Chicken. The chicken is delicious (as well as those huge dinner fries). I always have them deliver and have never had a problem. My husband thinks the pizza is some of the best in town. I'm so glad that they are on our side of town!
