I must say I was pleasently surprised with my dining experience here. My wife and I where a little worried when it was just us and two couples in the huge dining area. Service was good, should be when there is only 3 tables to wait on. They have several dishes with a "pepperjack sauce" which peaked my curiosity. this has got to be the worst pizza hut in america and that is saying something since all pizza hut pizzas are crap anyway absolutely disgusting and dirty place with the worst customer service i have ever encountered in my life this place did NOT even honor a coupon that had NO expiration date and deliveries always take at least an hour. when i called to ask about that the manager said they still havent hired enough drivers. still?! i will never ever eat pizza hut again!

i love this place! my friends and i go every weekend and always have a great time. prices are just like everywhere else in town but the atmosphere, cleanliness, service, and fun are truly unique. highly recommend!!

I agree with the previous reviewer. This restaurant is in a location that is hard to find, with a parking lot that isn't easy to navigate. I went here by accident, when I was trying to locate the even harder to find "Wingstop" restaurant. I didn't stop, because I wanted to use a coupon for the other restaurant.

I was very disappointed. I went to the Coffee road location and they did not even have shrimp coctail sauce for my shrimp! The employee could care less. It was overpriced, cooked in too much grease, hard to get to location and way not worth going back. I give the business 6 months at the most.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect from KC Steakhouse. In my 13 years in Bakersfield I had never been to the place. Although I did notice that in addition to bread and butter, KC Steakhouse places small bowls of salsa and Gorgonzola (presumably to sprinkle on steaks) at the center of each table. I looked on the internet for kitchen furniture to save money. Usually I can save but I found that it was cheaper than the internet by far. They told me that it was on backorder and I would have to wait five weeks. They got my furniture to me in two weeks. I also had a great sales person in the store who was very nice and helped me get a good price. I would recommend Ashleys furniture on price and service.

I have had repair from Hero's Plumbing on three separate occasions and have found them to be prompt and curteous and I thought they did a great repair job on everything I called them on. I would recommend them.

LaRosa Fruit bars are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you hav'ent tried them you need to, i promise you wont regret it. The coconut taste like coconut, the lime taste like lime, and you can see the fruit in the bars. My co-worker, Nicole, and I went to the Honolulu Hawaiian BBQ today for lunch. We both had never been there to eat before. You can either choose to have chinese or hawaiian food. While on vacation this summer I had the opportunity to eat a few times at The Garden Spot. They have the freshest produce. I love their Basque bean soup. Reasonable price also. I hope to stop there again when traveling through Bakersfield. This place is terrific, what a gem.

Wings to Go is awesome! The employees are extremely friendly. It's clean and the food is great. I usually go with my husband and 2 children (ages 3 and 5). Our kids love the wings, while my husband and I are hooked on the wraps.

I usually love The hide out, but when I placed my order today the waitress that answered my call was really rude. Then when my co-worker and I went to go pick up our orders the same (and only) waitress was rude to both of us and when she took our bank cards to charge us for the food we had ordered she charged the wrong order to the wrong card. I loved this place! Had driven by a few times and finally decided to try it. It wasn't too busy and I love the old-school War decor and the old-school candies for sale The people were really nice and the sandwich came out quick so I could take it back to work. its like Oktoberfest everynight... all sausage and beer. Nah... the people are cool and they got a lot of tv's, bartenders know what they are doing, one actually poured me a pint of guinness the right way. But would it kill them to put in a comfortable booth or two?

I never thought eating healthy could be so good. It's not cheap! But what is these days. So if you can't afford it don't bother because then you'll give it a bad review. I love the Tai pizza and the Cobb salad is terrific. But if you like wraps they have some very flavorful ones to choose from not to mention the Coffee drinks and the wonderfull Smoothies!!! Yum! R. I went for lunch at the store off Coffee & Hageman 08-14-08. A male with long curly hair at the order register was rude and short with me and other customers. I ordered a hot sandwich and dad ordered a personal pizza. We ordered at 1:10 pm and did not receive our food until 2pm. My sandwich was cold from waiting 40 minutes for the pizza. I feel bad rating McDonalds because they are in a class of their own when it comes to the quality (?) of their food. However I do have a complaint regarding the lack of availability of their newest product, the "fruit smoothie." Bakersfield was chosen as the test market for this new product, but in all three attempts to purchase this product over the last three weeks, the McDonalds on Niles/Oswell has been "out of the ingredients" twice, and yesterday...

So after all the hype I finally went. Placed a carry out order for a small pizza. It took well over an hour so I figured it had to be good. Got home to find out the bottom of the pizza was badly burned, there was virtually no sauce, and it did not tast good. I may try it again someday but as of now I think they are way over hyped.

The pizza was excellent, great toppings and value for the money - my daughter and I shared a small BBQ chicken pizza and couldn't finish it all it was such a big portion. We went on a Sunday afternoon, after church, moderate crowd, the wait was not bad for the pizza. Restaurant could have been a bit cleaner, though.

i like the thin crust NY style pizza but the service is always horrible !!! Takes forever for your order and the staff act like they are doing you a favor when they wait on you. i tried to order a whole NY style pizza but the rude lady at the counter said they don't sell it like that so i asked how many individual pieces in the whole pizza she said 8 so i told her i wanted 8 slices in a box she said no ... i was like OK i didn't know there was a limit on how many slices you could get ???

I'm usually not to critical of fast food places.. but I've been to this wendy's twice and it was horrible both times... this time i was the only car in the drive-thru and still had to wait 2 minutes to be helped. I ordered 3 things.. chessburger w/ no tomatoes, fries, and vanilla shake. I got a bacon burger with tomatoes, a half empty fry container, and a chocolate shake. I've LOVED Dewars since I was a kid in the 50's. I moved to NorCal, so I only get to enjoy this place on special occasions. I didn't know about the big joint in Rosedale though. To me, it's still next to the BHS (my alma mater) campus. Keep it up, George. My favorite is the George's Special - even over the Black and White.

This was my first time eating here. I ordered the club sandwich, and I thought it was really tasty. One of the proprietors encouraged me to try the rose tea, which I also enjoyed. Between the sandwich, the tea, and some complimentary chips, I got out of there spending less than $7. My family and I agree with the good reviews of the hideout. The food is good and when we have gone the service has been great.
