The food catered by Fred's BBQ, many items made from original recipe's, is intensely flavorful. Excellent service, quality ingredients and the reasonable prices made the menu even more inviting. We couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you for being so attentive to our guests -- you certainly contributed to the success of our event.

I grew up on Smith's bakery cookies, cakes and Saturday morning trips to get a dozen donuts for the family if we got our chores done quickly! Some of their things are pretty sweet - but you know they are fresh made! Try the location on Union Ave. near Hwy. 178. I have tried all of the other bakeries in Bakersfield. Many people raved about Krispy Kreme - sure they were good, but now they are gone! My husband and I took our boys to K.K. to see the donuts going down the assembly...

Kosmos is the place to be. Great atmosphere, friendly service. It's a place to go relax have a good time, eat great food. I have tried just about everything on the menu, they are all my favorites. Come on in and try it, you won't be disappointed.

When this restaurant first opened, the food was great and so was the service. When they had new owners, the food changed, (less quantity and quality). The service stayed the same, very good. We used to go there at least once a week, but now we skip the place, as there are better Mexican restaurants out there. JMHO.

Happy hour appetizers are awesome!!! Not just your average cheap food, it was like a meal not an appetizer. Most places have nasty potatoe skins and chicken strips half off, but the steak kabobs were enough to fill me up and they tasted excellent.

MMM MMM MMM, that's to the best barbecue catering in Bakersfield. Excellent food, service and prices are great!!! For those who loved the old barbecue factory at the Ice House will love their catering services. Same guys, different place, but same great flavor!! I'd use them again and again!!!

I used to order food from this place quite often. But their prices have risen to the point that you can get more food, better quality, and less expensive prices at other Chinese restaurants. They need to review their prices at the very least I my humble opinion if they want to stay competitive.

I love the food, service and atmosphere. The Outback is one of my favorite places to eat. I would have rated it a full five stars except for one minor thing... The table lights! Those pseky lights shine directly into my eyes and are annoying to the extreeme. So annoying I will sometimes choose to go to Tahoe Joe's for a steak just so I won't have to stare into a 60 watt bulb through out my dinner.

YUCK! The fried food wallows in grease. While it USED to have decent food, it is now below mundane in quality. Add the past never-ending health violations and the Westchester Bowl Coffee Shop is a fantastic place ---- To AVOID!

OK, I haven't had the fish and chips, but I did have the egg salad and it was okay. There food is alright, but way overpriced. Crap, I could get a large soda else where and get two for the price that I'm paying there. After hearing all they hype we tried it. Our waitress couldn't care less that we were even there but it was probably due to the woman manager disciplining the staff in front of tables. The food was below average and the price well above what real quality should cost. Had they been impressive, we would have gone again but as is, not a chance.

I LOVE the Outback!! Yes, my wife is the proprietor and has been with the restaurant since it opened. Recently moved here from the Santa Barbara area where we had a great therapist. We've tried many here in Bakersfield and finally found Bella Sol. I wouldn't go anywhere else! All the therapists are wonderful, caring and professional and the prices are less than expected.

I rarely ever give reviews to companies, but I have to give Michel Auto Tech some recognition. The minute I called in, until the minute I was driving away, their business was very professional and clean. I now will not go anywhere else.

The service at Outback is so good, almost to a fault. However, I'll take that minor problem any day to the apathetic service some restaurants offer on a consistent basis. We've eaten at Outback on several occassions here in Bakersfield and also Las Vegas. The first time we ate here about 7 or 8 years ago, we discovered the heavy seasoning they put on their steaks, a problem addressed by other reviewers. Replay is awful!!! I have not sampled the menu, and don't intend to because of the awful night I had there when I just wanted to have a couple drinks with friends. The second I walk in, there is tons of people at the bar, and only one bartender......I never did get a drink. And as I'm just walking around checking the place out, bouncers kept grabbing my arm and asking where I was going. Finally I just wanted to leave...and couldn't easily do that either. We're new to Bakersfield and in our stops here and there we met a guy everyone calls "Martini Dave". He recommended Replay and we're sure glad he did! Our experience was super! Some of the most tasty food, excellent service and yes, we stayed long into the night. Sorry for all those posting above who couldn't get in but might we suggest you shell out a few bucks for dinner and then stick around? Just being cute doesn't get you on a VIP list!

The sushi is great and as fresh as you will find at Tokyo Gardens or Miyoshi's. The atmosphere is pretty bland though. They need to invest a little in new decorations, tables and seats. Prices are the highest in town for Japanese food.

I think this place is great. I have been two times and sat at the teppan grill each time. The steak has great seasoning and the rice is delicious. Go hungry because you get alot of food and it is so good, you will want to finish it. Lunch is pretty affordable, too!

The food is among the best in town. Too bad the service is so bad. I think there is only one waitress which is not enough for a busy lunch hour. I had to stop going for lunch because I couldn't get in and out of there in time. Maybe the service is better at the sushi bar.

I must disclose that I am biased since my husband works for Kern Special Services (KSS). They offer a wide variety of services ranging from remodeling to fire and water damage repair. They have highly skilled certified mold and dehumidification experts and all of the cutting edge equipment. I can attest to the fact that they do offer 24 hour service! Visited the 19th street location downtown for lunch. Usually order the chicken caesar salad. Generous portion (both the greens and chicken), fresh romaine, flavorful cilantro dressing. A great option for a light but satisfying lunch. Staff is always friendly and keeps the dining area clean. Arrive a bit before noon to avoid the crowd or call ahead for take out order.

The massage was fine, but the massage therapist was not. When I came into the salon, she seemed irritated as if I was interrupting something. I was surprised to find she was the only one working there. During my massage, she wouldn't shut up, and I could barely understand anything she said through her Korean accent. She even left me during my massage to talk to somebody up front! To top it off, after the massage, she practically asked me for her tip. Let's just say I'm not going there again.

Peking Palace is an awesome lunch spot..... They have very low prices and good sized portions. I have yet to eat a bad meal here. 5 stars all the way!
