Staff is great. My problem was that the kids hamburgers were RARE. Adult food, ok to be a litle rare, but never ever cook hamburger rare for kids. Next time I will pay better attention because I didn't notice how rare the meat was until my kids had eaten most of it. I did mention it to a waitress who told us we should have been told that they are cooked that way and then the cashier, who also happened to be our waitress told us that the kids burgers aren't supposed to be cooked...

I have been going to Ambiance for a little over 2 years, the prices are reasonable, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I always feel like the most important person in the world when I'm there. Oh yes and thank you Betty, I always love my hair!

I've been here about 5 times, the cupcakes are delicious!! The owner however, is another story. The first time my co-worker and I went in to purchase cup cakes for the office. She was rude. We chalked it up to maybe a bad day, everyone has them right. My daughter raves about how sweet the owner is and this and that. We've been back since and she has seemed rude and unfriendly each time. We had our kitchen done last week and the previous reviewer had it dead on- this is the best granite work I've ever seen. We had a full granite backsplash and they took a lot of time to insure that the patterns and grains matched up, so it looks like one big piece of stone going over the counter and then up the wall, instead of looking like seperate pieces. The "weird taste" of their food is probably quality and freshness! Tastes great to me. I haven't been in about a month, so I can't speak about staff attitudes. I've gotten good service in the past. A quick "Hi" and "Burrito bowl with carnitas and black beans, please" and a "Thank you" never hurts. I've never had a problem with skimpy portions. Neither has my husband. Heck, sometimes they stuff his burrito so much they can hardly wrap it up!

"Finally" we got a store with a great selection of wine and services in Bakersfield!!!! It is about the time!! Imbibe carries many selection of wines from all over the world as well as from California. Their selection of wines goes from highly-rated but yet affordable one to well-known wine that unfortunately comes with some price. They also carry wines that are "hot item" of the year for the industry. No longer driving down to LA to shop for wines!...

I was looking for an affordable solution for a proposed website that would be easy to update when this popped up in the search engine for Bakersfield Yes, the prices are below average, but his demonstration websites either don't work or are atrocious. At first chipotle used to be really good,but hwat i have noticed is that they are getting really skimpy on the food and the people who work the front counter their attitudes stink. They barely give you anything on your bowl and if you ask for more they give you an attitude because you asked. They pick and choose who they give more portion to. We have been eating here for years for family dinners. We just started holding family dinners here again after about a year and notice the tri tip does not taste like it use to. We asked the waiter and she said they have changed their recipe. Bad choice!. Since then I have talked with several people and friends and they say it has gone done hill. Please change back we really enjoy the way it use to be.

Well, the food isn't that great, but I do LOVE the decor! Sometimes I want to ask if I could just buy the Ipu Hula in the display case by the order section! The Tahitian Hau belt in the beach house is so pretty I want to take it home! Cute place!

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! The workers don't know how to smile, are extremely rude, and very much racist! They asked what we wanted, no "hello" or "what can I get you" they pretty much threw the cookies in the bag! I love their cookies and wanted one really bad. We haven't been there in a while, and will probablly never go back. Delicious cookies, terrible service. What a waste of time!

95%? More like 3% if you ask moi! As a pizza fan, I have been extremely displeased with this restaurant. First of all, the pizzas here are very small, which is curious enough since it costs 250% more than Papa John's. Second off, the dining room is so unfinished due to broken lights and dirty atmosphere. And finally... the third... the employees are rude. Today I met two of my girlfriends at Elaines just to try it out. I am new to being vegan and I was so impressed with the freshness of the food and the customer service. The owners were so friendly and didn't have any problem chatting with us about items on the menu and other vegetarian/vegan topics. My experience at Elaines was wonderful, and I plan on coming back often. Finally Bakersfield has a Vegan friendly restaurant!

Under the previous owner, the food was awful! Now, the food is exceptional, the service is superb and the facility is absolutely spotless. No exaggeration in saying they have the best double-bacon-cheeseburger in town.

Chris is not only extremely knowledgeable in fine art, he is a heck of a nice guy too. Can't go wrong with Vanderlei. (I wish I could say that about some of the other art dealers in Bakersfield - most are either crooks or will overcharge you in an instant)

This is by far one of my favorite Italian restaurants in kern County. My favorite dish has to be the cheese tortellini with alfredo and marinara sauce on it. Very very good. You must try the menudo. It is probably some of the best in town and I've tried plenty. Anyway, we don't go that often to this place, but when we do, we all have a very enjoyable experience. Good food, energy, etc.

One of my favorite Chinese places to go to. It is a tradition that we go there as a family and the main reason why is because the food tastes great and very consistent. It is also very unique. I have worked up and down the state and there is literally no other place that serves the unique combinations of foods that Bill Lee's does. I like (in no particular order) fried shrimp dinner, specialty of the house, sweet and sour chicken, mongolian beef, the egg rolls and the egg flour soup....

haha what a joke this place was, and i used to work there! shady managers (most of them were drug dealers on the side), corrupt upper management (a manager was caught stealing money and just transferred and i, not being a manager was fired) and another manager routinely altered employee hours to make labor, yet another older manager gave vicodin to the underage girls working there and who knows what his intentions were, dirty food/employees (don't eat the bloody chicken), terrible customer...

Recently I took my wife to T-Bones for her Birthday, BIG MISTAKE!!!! My wife had the Tri-Tip Special which was overcooked and the Shrimp was so overcooked it was like eating cardboard. Love this place!!!! My husband and I have been going for about 3 years now... we have season tickets.. it has become our date night. The shows are always fantastic, with very few and minor exceptions they also keep them very clean and suitable for a family. We love the "bar" and we love the cast. Sweet owners too!!!

Great Place!!! The employees are always very friendly and very helpful. The wait is great its only about 30 mins. for a hot, fresh pizza. We have eaten in about 3 times and ordered out about twice. Through that we have learned that you have to order a smaller size than you do at other places. Very filling pizza... Poor us huh??, we even usually even have leftovers. Great value and great pizza!!!!

My family has been to this pizzeria 4 times thus far, and I must say... this place is great! Good pizza, tasty ribs, hot breadsticks, fresh salads, cold sodas, and excellent, excellent service! The atmosphere is charming and helps keep the replay value high, so I can definitely tell you all that this is a great family dine-in! :)

An insult to Chicago Style pizza and pizza in general. We tried the thin and the “Chicago Style” deep dish...BOTH WERE TERRIBLE. Great place to get your ground work stuff., been going here for several years. Prices are always within my budget. The organic compost they carry has made an enormous difference in the look and feel of my beds. Smiling faces from a family run local business make this a place to shop. I'll be going back in next month to get another 3yds of mulch and to look over their rocks for a couple bed borders.

Tonight I was lucky enough to go see The Gaslight Melodramas famous performance of "My Big Fat Oildale Wedding." It was FANTASTIC! One star is too many! Dirty restaurant, tables smelled like they had been mopped with a dirty mop (probably were as we found mop remnants on chairs) ... Chips stale...salsa watered down, no spice...prices high....horrible service...now been there 4 times only for social reasons (NOT MY CHOICE), would never go willingly.

Make your appointment for early in the morning or you will have a three hour wait. Dr Rivera and Dr Lopez are amazing doctors but thier support staff has a lot of room for improvement. The front office was rude and there was no notice that the apointments were running so far behind. This has happenend on several occasions!!

I would highly recommend this place for any and all. Being a grandparent I might be a little out of the loop, but my grandson and his friends all had a great time. The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgable. We booked two more parties within a month and have dropped in a couple of times since then. I just wish they had a place for me to play. Allen B.

This place rocks. This is one of the few places that when you order a turkey sandwich you get REAL turkey. It is not that processed junk !!! The sandwiches have so much meat on them it's hard to eat just the half. I have tried all of the breads that they make and they are all great. They serve this green tea that tastes like it has melons in it and it is awesome. You have to try it. You get more bang for your buck here.

This pizza is number 2 behind Pizzaville. The ingredients are fresh, the food is great, and the employees are very helpful and nice. Did I mention the prices? I would have to say in the price department this place is number 1. I could eat here everyday. We have gone to El Sombrero for years! The food is always good and staff is very attentive. The family that owns it are the BEST!! They are always very welcoming and always comes to your table to make sure everything is all right and makes you feel like you are part of the famly.

I have been dining at El Sombrero for years; service is wonderful, people are friendly some of the wait-staff have been there since I first started going in 1980. Food is always hot and delicious!
