  AgJOBS and Bush's immigration proposal. AgJOBS Will not work. There is no point in even speaking about such a system in the midst of the criminal ag business labor subcontracting. The purpose of the ag labor subcontracting is to avoid all forms of legalization. It will continue to forge documents and pay sub par wages. The above is fact for a simple reason. No immigrant. Legal or illegal comes to America to live a life of a farm worker. It is a position that is taken as a stop over job. A position that in short order will lead to non ag jobs. These jobs in the ag business performed by the illegal immigrant are part time jobs. Jobs good for 9 months of the year at best. The low wages and the instability of employment insure a continuing need for more and more illegal immigrants. What would you expect the immigrant to do during the 3 to 6 months of unemployment? We already have immigration provisions that require that an immigrant to refrain from collecting...
