The Fort Worth Star-Telegram has listed its top 100 country songs of all time.  They said these were pure country, not that other stuff. Here are its top 10. Any list that doesn't have The Dance by Garth Brooks in the top 5 should be taken too seriously. But I agree that He Stopped Loving Her Today by George Jones is about as good as it gets.
