GREATER BAKERSFIELD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE For those of you who were not in attendance at the GRC meeting this morning, I announced that my time with the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce is coming to and end.  Friday, October 12th will be my last day as a member of the GBCC team.  I have recently accepted the position of Administrative Analyst III in the Bakersfield City Manager's Office. This new opportunity brings with it mixed emotions.  I am excited for this new challenge and the prospect of having a small role in the future of Bakersfield, but I will also miss the regular exchanges with the many extraordinary individuals that make up the membership of this fine organization.  Being a part of the GBCC staff for the past five-plus years has been an outstanding experience, one that has been integral to my evolution as an individual and as a professional.  I owe a great debt of gratitude to all of you who have shown me such strong support...
