The Condors will have little more skill and grit on the ice Friday night as forward Todd Griffith makes his season debut. against Las Vegas.
Griffith has a ton of skill. He had 43 points (26 goals and 17assists) for the Condors last season before suffering a broken hand late in the season. He was also named to the ECHL All-Star game as well as the All-Rookie team. He rebroke his hand when he came back in the second round of the playoffs and off-season surgery has delayed his start this season.
As for grit, Griffith has a knack for getting under the skin of opponents as runs his mouth nearly as fast as he skates. And he’s at his best when he plays a physical type of game.
Griffith has been like a race horse in the gate chomping at the bit for the past two weeks. No doubt about it, he’ll be a player to watch on Friday night.
