The developer on the other side of the road then builds the median and gets the fee to defray half the costs.Sometimes it’s more complicated than that, Shaw said. Two developments may not overlap entirely, or there could be other complications.For any part of Old River Road south of Pacheco Road, the medians are waiting on development, she said.
