Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
If you've never gone to a state wrestling tournament, which has been held in recent years at the "Rab," check it out. As a longtime sports reporter, two of the highlights during the years I covered prep sports were the state wrestling and state track championships. When you put the best in the state together for a head-to-head competition, it doesn't get better than that. And the wrestling is in Bakersfield, which makes it an easy event to attend. The other item that warrants mention is the Central Section basketball championships for the various divisions (boys and girls), which will be held at Selland Arena in Fresno. Again, a great event to see the top teams in the valley duke it out. Yes, this is one of the top sports weekends we'll see all year. Take advantage of it.
