To keep the peace on the Bakersfield.com blogosphere, I recommend praying before blogging, or at least adopting a prayerful attitude.   I recommend this for myself as I do for others who are believing bloggers, for when I have blogged without first praying, or without first adopting an attitude of prayer, my blogs have not always been blessed. This is a prayer I'll offer, but I'd encourage you to develop one that fits your own personality and reflects where you are in your own personal spiritual journey: Dear God, as I blog here today, give me words of peace and reconciliation.  If there be any hate for my blogging brothers and sisters in my heart, pull that hate out by the roots and fill me with only your love and your light.  Let me avoid avenues of darkness, but if darkness comes to me as I enter, let me fill that darkness with light.  Fill me with your spirit of love, peace, joy and optimism so that I might build this community, and never let me...
