BAKERSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE William Rector, Chief of Police ________________________________________________________________________ Contact: Sergeant Greg Terry Public Information Officer 661-326-3803 gterry@Bakersfieldpd.us For Immediate Release Monday, March 31, 2008 Suspects arrested for robbery at Panorama Bluffs On 3/30/08, at approximately 12:40 a.m., an armed robbery to a person occurred near the bike path in the 300 block of Panorama Drive. The victims, a 20 year old male and 18 year old female, were sitting together at a bench along the Panorama Bluffs. Six hispanic males, one armed with a firearm and one armed with a knife, approached the victims, robbed them of personal property and fled.  The victims were not injured. An investigation into the incident by members of the Bakersfield Police Special Enforcement Unit led to the arrest of 3 suspects in connection with this robbery. All three suspects were arrested on 3/30/08 at residences...
