A swimmer has been killed by a shark at Solana Beach, just north of San Diego. Read the whole story here. As a kid I used to get in a lot of trouble for whistling the "Jaws" theme tune when my family took our summer holidays to the south of France. Hearing the theme tune was enough to make my brother think twice about going in for a swim. With summer vacations just over a month away, will today's fatal shark attack be on your mind when you head into the ocean for a refreshing dip. — Andrew Mockett
