Synopsis: Delano woman stabs daughter Details: This is a news release of the Kern County Sheriff's Department. Please do not contact the Sheriff's Communications Center. Date: Wednesday, April 30, 2008 Time: 11:34:05 AM Details: On 4/29/08 at 7:07 A.M., Kern County Sheriff Deputies, from the Delano Substation, were dispatched to a stabbing at an apartment in the 10700 block of Mettler Avenue. When deputies arrived they found a 24 year old female suffering form a stab wound to her thigh. The victim's mother, 49 year old TERESA ODOM, was arrested for the stabbing. ODOM was booked into the Ken County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon. Her bail was set at $25,000.00 and she will be arraigned in the Delano Branch of the Kern County Superior Court on 5/1/08. ---------------- Wondering why the mother did this?
