BAKERSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE William Rector, Chief of Police ________________________________________________________________________   For Immediate Release            Wednesday, April 30, 2008   Junior Police Academy Graduation   The Bakersfield Police Department is pleased to announce the graduation of the Junior Police Academy.  The ceremony will be today, 4/30/08, at 5:00 p.m. at the PAL Center, 301 East 4th Street.     There will be 19 cadets graduating from the 13 week program.
