Date: Friday, May 09, 2008 Time: 6:52:46 AM Department contact: Sgt Ed Komin Phone: 303-4592 Details: In celebration of mother's day, The Lamont Sheriff's Activity League will be visiting area retirement homes, convalescent homes, senior centers and the homeless shelter in the Bakersfield and Lamont areas. Sheriff's Activity League youth will visit with, and give mother's day cards to some of the less fortunate mothers who happen to find themselves in these facilities. The operation will be conducted on Friday, May 9 from 8:00 AM to 3:00PM and on Saturday May 10 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
