For any number of reasons I keep thinking about Bill Cosby and God saying to Noah when he argues about building the Ark “How long can you tread water.” Wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in divers places, tsunami’s, volcanoes, cyclones, tornadoes, floods, fires, diseases and famine; it isn’t looking good folks. Bad things seem to be going on at an apocalyptic pace, and just think; it may become increasingly worse while here in my native state we are being “assured” the Big One is going to hit us at any time. It certainly doesn’t help matters that politicians have mortgaged America for the next two generations. But perhaps politicians know something the “unwashed” don’t know that makes them think they can spend like there is no tomorrow? Maybe they aren’t counting on “tomorrow” ever coming?
