Date: Thursday, May 15, 2008 Time: 1:51:45 PM Department contact: Sr. Deputy Mark King Phone: 303-4592 Details: On 5/14/08 at 7:18 p.m., the Kern County Sheriff's Office received a report of a shooting in the area of Flower Street and Haley Street. At 7:35 p.m., Kern Medical Center reported a victim of a shooting had arrived in their Emergency Room and at 8:06 p.m., Memorial Hospital also reported receiving a victim of a shooting. During the investigation deputies discovered that 47-year-old CIPRIANO MALDONADO Sr. and his son, 27-year-old CIPRIANO MALDONADO Jr., where together near the intersection of Flower and Haley Streets when they were shot.
