Approximately 20 Kern County Firefighters responded to the blaze.   Upon arrival, fire crews were faced with an area of approximately 20 acres with grass and heavy brush burning. The fire was being assisted by developing winds in the area. Fire crews used hose lines to control the edge of the fire and also a bulldozer to prevent the main fire from spreading to the unburned areas. Kern County Fire Department...
