I was on Gwendolyn yesterday.... There were police at 5905 Gwendolyn...... detectives, the fire department, and paramedics all arrived. I saw a girl that looked to be about 18 years old outside crying....a man was also in tears. I called the news to see if they knew what was going on. The news asked me what agency was out there. I told them BPD.......they told me to give them a call back in 5 minutes. I called them back and they told me it was a suicide. Apparently the mother of the girl killed herself. I ask myself why. What would make a person kill their own life? Times are hard but they are never that hard. I think we should keep a close eye on our children and love ones. If you know a person is depressed encourage that person to seek professional help. The news said they do not run stories of this nature because they are too common. Just something to think about...
