He’s been in the plans since this summer and with players called up and others injured, it was time for Condors coach Marty Raymond to call in a little support.
The Condors signed former Air Force Academy standout and collegiate All-American on Saturday, hours before he was set to make his pro debut in the annual Teddy Bear Toss game at Rabobank Arena.
Now stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Ehn played four seasons for the Falcons, leading the team in scoring as a sophomore and junior. His 64 points during his junior season (2006-07) ranked second in the nation, and earned him First Team All-Conference and the Atlantic Hockey Association Player of the Year honors. He helped lead the Air Force Academy to an AHA Conference Championship in 2007 and the school's first berth in the NCAA Tournament. He also was selected as a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the top college hockey player in the U.S.
